I’m glad you stopped by. One of our goals at VIA LAGO is to help women find their own sense of style. Our personally edited collections cover the whole gamut of feminine, from workout wear to knock out gorgeous.

I believe that your wardrobe is like your life. Who wants to get dated or stale? It’s much more fun when you mix it up.

I’ve always loved to play with style. By age twelve, I was so fashion-conscious, I always had to have my “outfit” together. My first job was at a large Northwest department store, selling shoes. I later went to interior design school, and learned about color, line, fabric and detail. But my heart drew me back to fashion.

So in 1996 I took a leap of faith and opened my first VIA LAGO boutique, in Kirkland, Washington, a Seattle neighborhood. One of our store policies is, “Never let anyone buy anything she doesn’t absolutely love.” When you’re real and honest, people come back.

And I don’t believe in labeling yourself based on your age or your size. The only labels I believe in are fabulous designers! With the right clothes, every woman can express her sexy self.

Staying on top of trends is essential. In Los Angeles and New York, we scout the best boutiques, showrooms, and fashion markets before we buy for the next season. When I’m buying for VIA LAGO, I ask, ‘Do I want to put this on my body – how does it move and feel, is it truly great?’

I love the way our VIA LAGO boutiques in downtown Kirkland, Bridgeport Village and and our newest store in West Linn's Central Village have become impromptu meeting places for women. It’s so great when three or four girlfriends come in, have a glass of wine together, laugh and relax. We also have lots of fashion shows and parties. It’s not just about shopping. It’s about looking good, feeling good and enjoying the moment.
